Extraction and decolorization of silkworm faeces pectin

  • The extraction and decolorization process of silkworm faeces pectin was studied.Orthogonal experiments indicated that the best extraction conditions were as follows:H 2 SO 4 concentration 0.6%, reaction temperature 70℃, solid- liquid ratio 1 ∶ 20, extraction time 80min.Decolorization by macroreticular resin of X- 5, D- 101, H- 103, HPD-100, S-8.The best decoloriztion condions of S-8 were as follows:decolorization time1h, 10mL resin per 100mL extraction liquid, decolorization temperature 50℃, the quality of pectin meets the requirements of GBn 246-1985.
