Function of Passiflor and its comprehensive processing utility

  • Passiflora, which is one of the most aromatic fruits, chiefly grows in the tropical and subtropical regions and contains a variety of functional active compounds.This paper reviewed its medical health care value including anxiolytic, anti-inflammation, anti-addictions, and also reviewed the research of its juice, peel, seeds in food processing and utilization.Finally, the problems and future trends in research of it were proposed.
