Analysis of Hongkong’s regulation on pesticide residues in foods and relevant countermeasures

  • Regulation on Pesticide Residues in Foods is a new measure adopted by HASKR and would enter into force two years later. In this article, the content of the regulation was detailed analyzed, and it was differences with the Mainland’s maximum residue limits for pesticides in food were identified. Based on this, the countermeasures to the regulation were suggested to support the production monitoring for foods to Hongkong.
