Abstract

Objective:To study the toxicological evaluation on Lonicera bud. Methods:Respectively on KM mice and SD rats with acute and subacute toxicity test for toxicological assessment on it. Results:LD50 could not be calculated of Acute toxicity test, the maximum tolerated dose of mice was 15g·kg-1·BW. There was no difference of behavioral characteristics in the acute toxicity test. There was no significant differencein weight, hematological indexes and biochemical indexes between the experimental groups and the control group in the 30-day feeding test. Conclusion:Lonicera bud did not show overt toxicity.
