Study on the safety of instant asparagus powder

    Abstract
  • Objective:To study the safety of the instant asparagus powder.Methods:The mice were fed with the different doses of instant asparagus powder (1.25, 2.50, 5.00g/kg) for 30d, and observed the indexes of the test.Results:After 30 day fed with the dose of 1.25, 2.50, 5.00g/kg, the mice weight, the food utilization rate, the regular and biochemical indexes, the viscera weight and viscera/body weight had no significant difference (p>0.05) , and the histopathology side enunciated had no pathologic variety.Conclusion:These mice fed instant asparagus powder for 30d had no obvious effect.Therefore, it was safe and reliable as food.
