Cross fitting and dynamic viscoelastic analysis of chitosan solution

  • The cross model was used to fit the flowability curves of chitosan solution (0.005~0.025g/mL) at 25℃, and the frequency sweep and multiwave temperature sweep were used to analyse the dynamic viscoelasticity of the solution. The results showed that chitosan solutions ( 0.005~0.025g/mL) were all accorded with the cross model of rheology, and the higher the concentration, the smaller the critical shear thinning rate. The loss modulus ( G″) was always greater than the storage modulus ( G') , and the difference between the value of G' and G' approached gradually with the frequency increased. The fluid-like viscoelastic behavior was found at the lower frequency and the network crosslinked structure was formed at the higher frequency. The complex viscosity reduced with the increase of temperature and frequency. The rheological model about viscosity-temperature-frequency was established under the condition of temperature and frequency changed synchronously.
