Research progress in preparation and application of modified starch

    Abstract
  • Characteristics of the modified starch, and several preparation methods of the modified starch were briefly described. Applications of the modified starch in the field of food industry, medicine, water treatment, paper industry, foundry industry were also explained. Finally, this paper carried out the outlook on the prospects for the development of modified starch.
