The effects of Ieris chinxensis ( Thunb.) Nakai on acetylcholine content in nicotine poisoning mouse

  • To investigate the effects of Ieris chinxensis ( Thunb.) Nakai on acetylcholine content in nicotine poisoning mouse.Selected subcutaneous injection nicotine dose by observing the symptom of mouse, serum acetylcholine content was measured at different time after orally administration to select blood obtain time, serum acetylcholine content were taken as index to contrast orally administration different part or different managed Ieris chinxensis ( Thunb.) Nakai.The results showed that more appropriate subcutaneous injection nicotine dose was 6mg /kg.After orally administration Ieris chinxensis ( Thunb.) Nakai juice, serum acetylcholine content of nicotine poisoning mouse reduce 11%.Sample group had a significant difference ( p < 0.05) to nicotine group and control group at 45min, select 45min as the blood obtain time. After orally administration Ieris chinxensis ( Thunb.) Nakai rootjuice and leafjuice, serum acetylcholine content of nicotine poisoning mouse reduce 14% and 17%. Sample groups had a significant difference ( p < 0.05) to nicotine group and control group at 45min.After orally administration extractive of dry and fresh Ieris chinxensis ( Thunb.) Nakai, serum acetylcholine content of nicotine poisoning mouse reduce 13% and 16%.Sample groups had a significant difference ( p < 0.05) to nicotine group and control group at 45min.The results indicated that Ieris chinxensis ( Thunb.) Nakai cold markedly recede the acetylcholine releasing and reduce the nicotinic symptoms of mouse, the active ingredient exist in every part of the plant and could be extracted by 60% ethanol solution.
