Electrochemical behavior and determination of sunset yellow on poly (crystal violet) film-modified glassy carbon electrode

  • The poly ( crystal violet) film modified glassy carbon electrodes were prepared by electrochemical method.The electrochemical behavior of sunset yellow on the modified electrode was studied.A new method for measuring sunset yellow was established.The results showed that the poly ( crystal violet) film modified electrode could increase the response of electrochemical signal of sunset yellow.The calibration plot was linear in the range of 8.0 × 10- 82.0 × 10- 5mol /L.The detection limit was 2.0 × 10- 8mol /L.The proposed method had been successfully applied for the determination of sunset yellow in real food samples with satisfactory results.
