Effect of packaging materials on storage property of different moisture content peanut

  • In order to select a suitable packaging material to make peanut greatest extent during storage to avoid environmental impact, and to retard the deterioration of peanuts. The effect of packaging materials on storage property of different moisture content of peanut under high temperature and high humidity accelerated aging text has been analyzed in this paper by way of measuring the acid value, peroxide value, sensory evaluation.The results from experiments showed that 6.5% moisture content of peanut with PE/PA Seven layers co- extrusion film packaging or EVOH packing material had a better storage quality than other packaging materials. The storage effect of PE/PA composite packaging materials on the 12.0% moisture content of peanut was better than that of other packaging materials and the 25.3% moisture content of peanut was not suitable for airtight packaging.The study has found that peanuts in a safe moisture were suitable for barrier material, and peanuts slightly higher than the safe water were suitable for low-airtight packaging materials, and higher moisture peanuts were not suitable for use airtight packaging method.
