Research progress in the physiological functions and application of cholesterol from animals
Cholesterol is widespread in animals,it has important significance to maintain the animals ' normal physiological function. In this paper,the cholesterol content,physiological effects,extraction methods and application prospects were reviewed to provide a strong theoretical guidance for the further development and utilization of cholesterol from animals.
