Preparation of Ag~+/nano-TiO_2/Chitosan- based composite films and its fresh- keeping effect on mulberry

  • The composite films were prepared with casting method by adding Ag+and nano- Ti O2 particles into chitosan.The mechanical properties,water vapor permeability and fresh- keeping performance on mulberry of these films were tested. The results showed that the mechanical properties and fresh- keeping performance on mulberry were improved,and the water vapor transmission rate was reduced by adding Ag+and nano- Ti O2 particles.The composite film prepared by simultaneously adding two particles obtained the best performances.
