Hypoglycemic effect of the compound of burdock,mulberry leaf and ganoderma lucidum on diabetic rats

  • Burdock,mulberry leaf and ganoderma lucidum were used as the raw material,the decoction of fructus arctii,mulberry leaf,ganoderma lucidum compound was prepared by the water extracts. The change of blood sugar,hepatic glycogen,and serum TG,TCH,SOD,MDA was measured in the diabetic mice model established by the tail vein injection of alloxan.The effects of the compound extract was reflected on diabetes mice blood glucose,lipid metabolism,oxidative stress. The results showed that high dose group of water extract compound could significantly increase the content of SOD( p < 0.01),and decrease the content of fasting blood( p < 0.05),TCH( p <0.05),TG( p < 0.001) and MDA( p < 0.05). Medium dose group of water extract compound could significantly increase the content of SOD( p < 0.01),and decrease the content of fasting blood( p < 0.05),TCH( p < 0.05) and MDA( p < 0.05).Low dose group of water extract compound could significantly increase the contents of SOD( p <0.01) and liver glycogen( p < 0.05),and decrease the content of TCH( p < 0.05) and TG( p < 0.01).Results indicated that the water extract compound of burdock,mulberry leaf and ganoderma lucidum had significant hypoglycemic effect,and rectified the derangement in lipide metabolism and strengthen antioxidant defense system.
