Research progress of quorum sensing phenomenon in microorganisms co-culture system

  • The method,classification,development,application of microbial co-culture were introduced,and the effects of co-culture of different species were summarized.Microbial co-culture system was regulated not only by the collaborative metabolism,but also by quorum sensing in microbial cultures. Compared with the pure culture,biofilm formation,signaling molecules,virulence factors of production,bacteriocin synthesis and secretion of extracellular protease of co-culture system were different. The research of action mechanism of quorum sensing would improve further development and application of cultivation technology.
