Effect of jujube juice concentrate on relieve physical fatigue and immune function in mice

Objective:To study the effect of jujube juice concentrate on anti-fatigue activity and immune function in mice.Method:Mice were randomly divided into 4 groups including solvent control group (distilled water) and 2.5, 5.0, 10.0 m L/kg·bw.In order to evaluate the effect of jujube juice concentrate on anti-fatigue activity in mice, the rod drop time were recorded, and the content of liver glycogen, muscle glycogen, blood lactic acid, blood urea nitrogen, total protein were tested by experiment.The plaque forming cell of spleen, phagocytic index, antibody level, the thickness of footput and spleen lymphocyte transformation were evaluated from two aspects of specific immunity and non-specific immunity.Results:Compared to the solvent group, in low dose group, the anti-fatigue time significantly lengthen (p<0.05) , the content of blood lactic acid and blood urea nitrogen significantly decreased (p<0.05) , in middle dose group, the content of liver glycogen and muscle glycogenhighly significantly increased (p<0.01) , in high dose group, the content of muscle protein significantly increased (p<0.05) .The middle dose could not only highly significantly improve the mouse plaque forming cell of spleen and phagocytic index (p<0.01) , but also significantly improve the antibody level (p<0.05) .The high dose could not only highly significantly improve antibody level and thickness of footput (p<0.01) , but also significantly improved mice plague forming cell of spleen and phagocytic index (p<0.05) .Conclusion:Jujube juice concentrate had anti-fatigue effect and enhanced immune function of mice.
