The anti-Aspergillus flavus activity of composite coating of perillaldehyde-sodium alginate in peanut

  • Peanut was easily polluted by aflatoxin which was due to the rapid growth and reproduction of Aspergillus flavus during storage and transportation. In order to better prevention and control peanut aflatoxin contamination, compound coating formulation of perillaldehyde-alginate sodium and storage process of composite coating peanuts was studied with sodium alginate and perillaldehyde paper as raw material, glycerol as a plasticizer, to inhibit the growth of Aspergillus flavus activity as the main evaluation. The optimum formula was that the concentration of sodium alginate was 6 mg/m L, perillaldehyde was0.015 mg/m L, glycerol concentration was 6 mg/m L, in which inhibitory diameter achieved ( 7.32 ± 0.11) cm. The way to add perillaldehyde had great influence to inhibit Aspergillus flavus in film peanut, and the best way to add perillaldehyde was fumigation, storage temperature and relative humidity of storage respectively was below 25 ℃ and below 60%.
