Optimization of ultrasonic-assisted technology for polysaccharides extraction from the bark of Fortunearia sinensis branches by response surface

  • Ultrasonic-assisted technology was used to optimize the extraction technique of polysaccharides from the bark of Fortunearia sinesis branches.Based on the results of single factor experiment, the impacting factors was selected including liquid to solid ratio, extraction time, extraction temperature and extraction power, and the extraction yield of polysaccharides as the response value. The extraction conditions of polysaccharides from the bark of Fortunearia sinensis branches were determined by response surface analysis. The optimum extraction conditions were as follows: liquid to solid ratio was 50 ∶ 1 ( m L/g) , the extraction time was 59 min, the extraction temperature was 66 ℃, and the extraction power was 180 W. The extraction rate of polysaccharide was 11.43 mg/g.Compared with the ultrasonic and traditional hot-water extraction method, ultrasonic extraction efficiency was higher.
