Research Progress of Cross-linked Enzyme Aggregates Improvement

  • A simple and effective technique of cross-linked enzyme aggregation(CLEAs)using a carrierless immobilization technique was introduced in this review. By using CLEAs technology,the preparation of CLEAs with suitable particle size,high catalytic activity and good stability is the primary goal of the study. Therefore,the regulation of particle size,the methods for modifying the activity and stability of CLEAs were summarized and analyzed in the paper. Based on this,the application of various additives in the cross-linked enzyme aggregate technology and the research trend of this technology combined with other immobilization methods to improve the stability were described. In the future,in order to meet the development of various new sources of CLEAs,the search for new crosslinking agents and CLEAs catalytic mechanisms will also be one of the key research objectives in this field. For the optimization of the preparation of different cross-linked enzyme aggregates,we have proposed suggestions for the establishment of an accurate intelligent information platform aimed at providing a basis for the rapid design and screening of different cross-linked enzyme aggregates.
