Advances in Research on Supercritical Solution Impregnation and Its Application in Active Food Packaging

  • In this article,the mechanism of SSI technology included the interaction between the components in the SSI process were described,as well as the process of SSI. The research on the preparation of food active packaging by SSI in recent years was summarized. The preparation of natural active materials loaded into synthetic polymers,natural polymers,composite polymers,nano-polymers and other matrix materials by SSI to form films using as active food packaging were introduced. Moreover,the research focus of SSI technology on the preparation of food active packaging was prospected.
