Detection of Salbutamol by SPR Immunosensor Based on DMSA Self-assembled Monolayers

  • In this paper, dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA) was used as self-assembled monolayer to connect the antigen on the chip of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) immunosensor to construct DMSA-SPR immunosensor for detection of the model of salbutamol (SAL) and its detection effect was compared with that of traditional mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) -SPR sensor. The results showed that the recognition efficiency of antigen and antibody of DMSA-SPR immunosensor was nearly doubled at room temperature, the linear range was up to 5~150 ng/mL, and the limit of quantification (LOQ) was 5 ng/mL. The recovery rate of this sensor applied to SAL detection in pork reached 94.9%~108.0%, and had a good correlation with the analysis results of ultra-high phase liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) analysis. Therefore, this method would provide a new idea and method for improving the sensitivity of SPR immunosensor, and could be widely used in the detection of other small molecules.
