五味子及其制品保肝作用研究进展

Research Progress on the Hepatoprotective Effect of Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.)Baill. and Related Products

  • 摘要: 五味子(Schisandra chinensis(Turcz.)Baill.)是药食同源的中药材,富含木脂素、多糖等生物活性物质,具有良好的保肝、抗病毒、抗炎和抗癌作用。五味子不仅作为功能性成分被添加到食品中,同时作为中药材被广泛应用于中药制剂。近年来,五味子及其制品中的活性成分在肝脏疾病治疗方面的应用较多,但其药效物质基础和作用机制尚缺乏系统总结。本文综述了五味子通过调节脂质代谢,增强抗氧化能力,抑制炎症,调节肠道菌群等方式对酒精性、代谢相关(非酒精性)脂肪性、药物性、四氯化碳(CCl4)、病毒性肝损伤的保护作用,并总结了五味子活性成分及其制品对肝癌的抑制作用与机制,以期为五味子及其制品保肝作用的进一步研究和应用提供科学参考,扩大五味子在医药健康领域的应用范围。

     

    Abstract: Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill. is a medicinal and edible herb, rich in bioactive compounds such as lignans and polysaccharides, and possesses excellent hepatoprotective, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer effects. Schisandra is not only used as a functional ingredient in food but also widely applied in traditional Chinese medicine formulations. In recent years, the active ingredients of Schisandra and its products have been applied more frequently in the treatment of liver diseases. However, the fundamental medicinal substances and mechanisms of action remain insufficiently summarized. This article reviews the protective effects of Schisandra on alcoholic, metabolic-related (non-alcoholic) fatty liver disease, drug-induced liver injury, carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) toxicity, and viral liver damage through mechanisms such as regulating lipid metabolism, enhancing antioxidant capacity, inhibiting inflammation, and modulating gut microbiota. Additionally, the review summarizes the inhibitory effects of Schisandra derived bioactive compounds and products on liver cancer, as well as the mechanisms involved, and to expand its usage in the fields of medicine and health.
